top screen goes fuzzy

top screen goes fuzzy
My daughter has an old type DS and after 20 mins or so thetop screen goes fuzzy and she has to turn it off for a while. After an hour or so she can turn it back on and it's ok for another 20 mins. Does anyone have the answer to how I can fix this please?
